The Constitution was rewritten in 2010 and amended in 2012. The Constitution can be download here.

Club Rules

The club rules were rewritten in 2010 and derived  from the constitution. The committee will be reviewing the Club rules in 2012 to ensure they are inline with the constitution. The Club rules can be download here.

Committee Meetings

The committee meet every 4 to 5 weeks or as necessary to administer the running of the club.  The minutes for the committee meeting held in 2012 are available and shared via Google Documents. The meeting minutes can be shared with club members by submitting their Google mail address to the web editor.

Club Finances

The Club’s Financial year runs from 1st October to 30th September. The Accounts are kept on a receipts and payments basis as recommended by the Charity Commission for small charities. A copy of the most recent audited accounts can be made available on request by any member. A financial statement is prepared each year for presentation to the Annual General Meeting normally held in November. Prior the AGM the Accounts are audited by an Independent Examiner appointed each year at the AGM in accordance with the Club’s Constitution. The Club Committee requires a report from the treasurer at its regular meetings.

Members may claim back expenses resulting from club actives are required to submit a completed claim form and preferably supported with a receipt. Expenses form

Club 3rd Party Insurance

Insurance cover is provided through HF holidays.

Members Recommendations.

Members are invited to share their experience with club members on the service provided by Public Houses, Inns, Hotels and Cafes. This information will provide guidance to members when considering a suitable lunchtime venue when planning club walks.

Annual Club Awards

Awards that recognize good clubmanship within Derby Nomad Ramblers are to be presented to individuals who have improved the status of the Club and added value for the benefit of its members. Presentation of the Mavis Burton Award, the President's Award and the Chairman's Award will be inaugurated at this year's New Year Dinner.

The club membership is £8.50

The membership form is available here. Members are requested to complete the form with their personal details and submit the form and membership fee to the Membership Secretary or a Committee Member,
