(or a drink in the Snake Inn)

Nine walkers ventured on to Kinder from Edale village via Grindsbrook before crossing over to the Seal Stones on the Northern Edge. The route descended steeply in to the Ashop valley and a short walk on the A57 to the Snake Inn.

After being suitably fed and watered the party returned to Kinder plateau via Fair Brook and a scramble on the waterfalls before a short and easy crossing to the Kinder river just north of Kinder Gate. After following the river to the Down fall the group turned south to Kinder Low and followed the southern edge and descended to Edale village via Grindslow knoll. The weather was mixed with only the last 3 miles in heavy rain.
