This can only be described as an outstanding day out in Derbyshire lead by Janet Williams. From Bakewell the walk follows the river Dove to Haddon Hall, before climbing through Manners Wood and down to Calton Lees. Then crossing the river Derwent for a well earned rest and a pint outside the Duke of Devonshire in Beeley. After lunch the walk climbed on to the moors above Beeley via Hell Bank Plantation and finally resting by the Hunting Tower over looking Chatsworth House and gardens. Descending to cross the river Derwent for the second time before reaching the village of Edensor.  Finally the walk climbs out for Edensor over Calton Pastures before descending back to Bakewell.
