A fine walk by Griff starting from Ashbounre, this walk took in the less well walked paths to Parwich for lunch, Ballidon, Bradbourne, Upper Kniveton, Madge Hill and finally back to Asbourne. The weather was fine but quite hot and muggy with a little sun from time to time. However Griff lead this walk with his unique style, imparting a great deal of knowledge of people, places and history making his walks a wonderful experience.

However it is now generally agreed (to be ratified by Mr G Barker G.S.P) that a Griff mile is 2 km hence the walk was judged to be 15 miles. Griff walks give 25% better value than other walks.
